If you’re anything like me, your enthusiastic travel plans earlier in the year will have left you with next to no days off until the next holiday year.

This wouldn’t normally be a problem, except you’ve just wasted your last Bank Holiday of the year and your next break seems really, really far away right now.

Well, this is stating the obvious but it’s time to take a mini-break. Hell, not even a weekend break – just a day break, if you will.

Copenhagen is an expensive city – not only to stay in but also to experience.

Noma, known for being one of the best restaurants in the world, put the city on the global culinary map but it’s certainly not alone in making the Danish capital a must-visit destination for gourmet travellers.

But when the best restaurants in the city, at least according to the Michelin guide, can set you back more than £100 per head, it’s hard not to think twice about visiting Copenhagen for a good feed.

Miami is one of my favourite places to visit in the world.

I love the way that it’s almost always sunny, I love how the architecture is so vibrant and colourful, and I love the fact that there’s so much culture in such a tiny city.

Having last visited Miami almost a decade ago, I was a little apprehensive about how the city has changed over the years.
